“Definitely it will, It is all about dot balls in this format. The more dot balls you bowl, the better your confidence gets. If you are not leaking runs in T10 cricket, then T20 cricket will seem like a very long format. This is a high-pressure format, and if you do well here, you will feel less pressure in T20 cricket. In one way it is a very testing format for the bowlers,” Amir was heard saying.
Amir further talked about the importance of bowling yorkers and dot balls in this version of the game, as the batsmen are trying to muscle every ball out of the park.
“A fast bowler has to use his pace very well, and I am doing just that. I am also trying to bring in every possible variation in my bowling,” Mohammad Amir further stated.

Wasim also backed the young pacer and termed him as a match-winner. Wasim also feels Amir possesses the capability to do well in longer format as well.
Amir also sounded optimistic about his Test career.
“Test cricket is a totally different format. You have to bowl longer spells. Then you have the red ball to consider. Swinging conditions have to be considered. You cannot compare T20 cricket and Test cricket,” Amir further mentioned.
Amir thanked the almighty for getting better day by day and added you need to keep on learning during both bad and good days.
