The Supreme Court appointed Committee of Administrators (CoA) has asked the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to investigate on the charges which have been levelled by Hasin Jahan, wife of Mohammed Shami.
The charges include adultery, attempt to murder and many more. She accused Shami of having several extra-marital affairs with other women.
The Committee of Administrators led by Vinod Rai has given a seven-day deadline to BCCI’s Anti- Corruption Unit head Neeraj Kumar to submit the report on the particular issue in time.
The fast bowlers’ wife even levelled match-fixing charges against him. Though Hasin retracted the fixing allegation, the CoA has taken care of it and has asked the ACU to investigate the whole incident.
Hasin also disclosed all the facebook chats which Shami had with several women. She also accused her of having an affair with a South African girl. She further accused Shami of physically assaulting her for the last two years. Hasin clarified Shami was asking for the divorce for the final two years.
However, the fast bowler has denied all the allegations and have urged his fans to wait patiently until the actual truth comes out in public.
The BCCI decided to withheld his contract after his wife made several allegations. The charges included an attempt to murder, rape, domestic violence and many more.
If charges are proved, then Shami will land himself into hot water from where he could never return.
Mohammed Shami denies all the allegations
However, the fast bowler has denied all the allegations, and until everything is clear to us, it won’t be right to comment. The BCCI has not clarified whether the decision was taken by the allegations made by his wife or on merit.
However, it is quite clear the decision was taken based on the allegations made by his wife.
Shami played an integral part in India’s victory against South Africa in the 3rd Test at Johannesburg very recently. He has been a regular member of the Test team, so it is quite clear the reason to withhold his contract had a lot to do with his wife’s allegations.
