He accomplished this feat while playing for the Rajasthan Royals (RR) against the Mumbai Indians in the 42nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season at Wankhede Stadium.

Ravichandran Ashwin needed just two wickets to reach this landmark and he got there by dismissing Ishan Kishan followed up by Cameron Green, who played one too many shots and was caught in the deep.
With this achievement, Ravichandran Ashwin joins an elite list of bowlers who have managed to pick up 300 or more wickets in T20 cricket.
