Former legendary spinner Shane Warne believes former Australian captain Steven Smith and vice-captain David Warner should walk straight into the team. Both the players are serving their respective bans after getting involved in ball tampering row. Shane Warne said both the talisman batsman are class acts.
Meanwhile, Australia’s batting had taken a blow when both these linchpins were banned. Smith and Warner were Australia’s best batsman without an iota of doubt. Thus, their services are deeply missed by the team. Subsequently, the team has been let down and it has been a difficult period for Australian cricket.

Both were Australia’s best batsman.
“Steve Smith and David Warner are a class act. They should walk straight into the side (after serving the full extent of their bans),” Warne said on air.

The opening batsman is all set to return to action when he will play in the ongoing Big Bash League when Perth Scorchers will lock horns with Hobart Hurricanes on December 30.

“Dave (Warner) suggested to me to carry the action out on the ball has given the situation we were in the game and I didn’t know any better,” Bancroft said in an interview, conducted by former cricketer Adam Gilchrist for Fox Cricket.
