Virat Kohli

Suspended Australia cricketer, David Warner roasted Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli after he posted a set of pictures from his workout session recently.

Meanwhile, Kohli is currently gearing up for the upcoming tour to Ireland and England. India will play two Twenty20 Internationals with Ireland before moving to England to play series across formats.

They will play a three-match T20I and ODI series each followed by a Test match series against the Three Lions. It will be an important series for the men in blues ahead of the World Cup next year.

However, Kohli missed the Afghanistan Test last week due to a neck injury.

He sustained the injury during Royal Challengers Bangalore game in the IPL. However, he passed the fitness test and is raring to get back on the field.

Warner roasts Kohli

Kohli is a fitness freak and shares pictures on social media to inspire his fans. However, this time, Warner took a jibe at Virat on the comment box.

Virat recently posted some pictures from his workout sessions and explained in detail the routine he followed.

Today’s session included a lot of band work for lower body strengthening; including lateral band walk, monster walk and then striding a distance of 80 meters x 12 repetitions at speed of 16km/hr on treadmill. 15 second break between each stride and completing 2 sets of 12. Great way to begin the day,” the tweet read.

The Aussie cricketer seemed impressed with Virat’s muscular legs. But he also pulled his leg for not hitting many sixes in the recently concluded IPL 2018.

In a game against Delhi Daredevils, Virat was caught in the deep square leg by Trent Boult in an attempt to hit six.

But he failed to clear the ropes and had to walk back. Probably keeping that in mind, Warner roasted Virat.

Legs look toned mate, what about those biceps, you can hit them out of Chinnaswamy now @virat.kohli,” Warner wrote.
