It is expected that the trial will take place around 5-7 days as none of the three members didn’t plead the guilty of the charges. All the three men involved in the case are strong in their voices to judge.

During the time of the hearing, England would be locking their horns against India in the second Test at Lord’s. Furthermore, it is scheduled to play on August 9th.

As the hearing is on 6th of August, it is clear that Ben Stokes will be unavailable for the selection. Meanwhile, it would be interesting to see how the England board will tackle the things.

As always, there are few loopholes in Law which can battle out the person from any situation. It is learnt via ESPN Cricinfo that they can possibly seek a medical illness or a change in a charge.

It is also possible that if the respected individual produces any further evidence to the court. Eventually, the hearing would be postponed again.

Possibly, those are the few things available for ECB to aid Ben Stokes playing Lord’s Test.

Earlier, the absence of Stokes in the Test team hurt Three Lions badly. They were completely thrashed out by Australians in their den during the prestigious Ashes series tour.
