Ahead of the must-win game for Pakistan, their batting line-up needs to pull themselves together. The likes of Babar Azam, Asad Shafiq, and Abid Ali needs to raise their game further for the visitors to thrive. In their first-ever Test in Southampton, Pakistan’s bowling attack requires better handling of pressure while they fared better for the most part.
As for England, the home side will be without Ben Stokes as they look to seal the series. England’s batting order requires to perform more consistently too with skipper Joe Root needing a big score off his bat. While Jos Buttler saved his spot, for the time being, their bowling attack might most likely undergo a shuffling. Veteran James Anderson is expected to make way for bowling all-rounder Sam Curran.
