Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen is well known for his cricketing credentials. During his heydays, Pietersen would tee-off the bowling attacks effortlessly. Now, that he has hanged up his boots, the man likes to watch others do the same. He referred Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes as pure entertainers who are concurrently part of Three Lions ongoing Test series against Virat Kohli-led India.

Ongoing India???s tour of England has lived up to the expectations. The hosts have a 2-1 lead while the visitors are very much in the scheme of things to make it 2-2.

Pietersen has got his TV switched on, and the reason appeared to be the swashbuckling pair of Stokes and Buttler.

Both Stokes and Buttler are known for their stroke-making ability. The duo time and again provided glimpses of what they can achieve. While Buttler scored a hundred in the Trent Bridge Test match, Stokes has done the damage with both the bat and ball.

Pietersen tweeted- ???Buttler & Stokes batting means TV ON!???

Pietersen called the duo entertainers and took a close look at the proceedings this afternoon. The duo has faced about 478-odd deliveries in this series and has proved to be the vital cog in England???s batting line-up.

Both are currently batting with the hosts at 152 for five. Joe Root???s men are now leading by 125 runs with five wickets in hand. Indian skipper Virat Kohli and his men didn???t let the pressure slip.

A wild through from Mohammed Shami saw Joe Root depart for 48. Earlier in the day, Jasprit Bumrah and Shami sent back both the England openers. Veteran batsman Alastair Cook???s struggle for runs continued while his opening partner Keaton Jennings failed to convert the good start. Inda is currently ahead as Tea has been called.

The hosts will look to bat out the last session without any further damage. Stokes and Buttler are in good form, and the platform is set for them to express themselves.

England would want the two to stay till the evening and see-off the Indian bowlers. India, on the other hand, will look to get these two batsmen out and expose the tail.
