England vs India 2018: Watch - Shikhar Dhawan Trains Hard Ahead of 3rd Test

Team India opener Shikhar Dhawan hasn’t been in the greatest of touches on the England tour so far. After not being able to convert his starts into substantial scores in the opening Test in Birmingham, Dhawan got dropped from the Lord’s Test in favour of Cheteshwar Pujara.
However, Shikhar Dhawan was the top scorer for India barring Virat Kohli and looked in good touch during his brief stay at the crease.

In order to acclimatise to the conditions, the visiting team is trying every possible measure. They have a must-win game coming up, and the whole team needs to put their hands up and put up a determined effort. Dhawan who seems a doubtful starter for the 3rd Test shared a video on his Instagram handle where he was seen sweating it out in the nets.
The likes of Umesh Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya and Shardul Thakur were seen bowling at full tilt to Dhawan.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Dhawan shared the video with a caption,
“Practice..Practice.. and more #practice #teamindia #netssession.”
Dhawan has been a prolific run-scorer in the limited-overs format. However, when it comes to Tests, the southpaw batsman has not been able to convert his starts into big ones.
Shikhar Dhawan has time and again fallen to the expansive drive outside the off stump. His patterns of dismissals might have prompted the team management to drop him for the Lord’s Test. However, none of the top order batters has been able to make a mark in the first two Tests so far barring a certain Virat Kohli.
