South African skipper Faf Du Plessis took an absolute stunner of a catch to dismiss English Captain Joe Root. The incident took place in the fourth Test of the ongoing series between England and South Africa at Johannesburg. Du Plessis took a blinder to get rid of Root off Beuran Hendricks. Hendricks clinched his maiden five-wicket haul in Test cricket during England’s second innings.
He timed his dive to perfection and stretched on his right to complete a brilliant catch.

Recently, Du Plessis has been removed from his ODI captaincy post. Quinton De Kock has been appointed as the new ODI captain. Things don’t look good for Du Plessis in the Test Cricket as well. The Proteas aren’t performing well in red-ball cricket and are on the brink of losing out another Test series.

England are having a stellar performance in the current series. The English side has lost only a single game in the four-match series and has won two. It is on the brink of winning the final Test too and South Africa will have to pull on a miraculous show to get better of England.
South Africa now need 465 runs to win the Fourth Test to level the series.
