Former India opener Gautam Gambhir once again took a shot at his old nemesis Shahid After after the latter’s take on abrogation of Article 370. The Government of India, on Tuesday, gave a historic decision by scrapping Article 370 of the Constitution. The provision gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir and barred people from rest of India from buying land in the state.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah tabled resolutions scrapping Article 370 in the Rajya Sabha. The Rajya Sabha approved both the resolution and the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Bill, 2019. Both will now come up in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. The Reorganisation Bill converts the state into a Union Territory with the legislature, and hived off Ladakh region into another Union Territory without legislature.

It was a historic decision as the entire nation celebrated the abrogation of an article which many call a Himalayan Blunder. But while entire India was jubilant with the move, there were unrest through entire Pakistan. Among many from the other side of the border who criticised Indian government’s decision, one was Shahid Afridi.

The allrounder, who seemingly does not know much about article 370, urged the United Nations to take action. Shahid Afridi took to Twitter to blatantly claim there was unprovoked aggression and crime in Kashmir and also asked US President Donald Trump to mediate.

Just like the past times, Gautam Gambhir was once again not amused by Afridi’s tweet and quickly made it clear. The legendary opener took to Twitter to post a sarcastic tweet. Calling Afridi son, Gambhir wrote:

“@SAfridiOfficial is spot on guys. There is “unprovoked aggression”, there r “crimes against humanity”. He shud be lauded ?for bringing this up. Only thing is he forgot to mention that all this is happening in “Pakistan Occupied Kashmir”. Don’t worry, will sort it out son!!!”
