ICC World Cup 2019: Man Files Petition To Ban Pakistan Team After Big Loss Against India

A disappointed Pakistan fan has filed a petition to ban Pakistan national cricket team after the ignominious defeat against arch-rivals India. Pakistan team has come under scrutiny after their big loss of 89 runs by Duckworth Lewis method. In fact, the Pakistan team has been severely criticised for their poor performance.
The fans, as well as the former players, have lashed out at the team for their defeat. Pakistan was not able to put up a fight against India as they were dominated by a potent Indian side in all the three departments of the game.
Pakistan cricket is under pressure.
The petitioner, whose name has been kept anonymous, has asked for a ban on the cricket team while demanding chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq-led selection committee to be dissolved, SAMAA news channel reported on Tuesday.
In fact, in reply the judge at the Gujranwala Civil Court in Punjab province has summoned officials of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the brief report added.
Meanwhile, there are reports emerging of the feud between the Pakistan players. Sarfaraz Ahmed captaincy has also come under the scanner. In fact, Wahab Riaz, Imam-ul-Haq and Imad Wasim had an argument with Sarfaraz Ahmed.

It is also reported that Ahmed wanted to play Asif Ali and Mohammad Hasnain in the playing XI against India. Furthermore, there are reports that Ahmed can be removed from captaincy after the World Cup.
On the other hand, India posted a huge score of 336 runs after they were put into bat by Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed. India’s vice-captain was on song as Rohit Sharma scored a fine knock of 140 runs from only 113 balls with the help of 14 fours and three sixes. Furthermore, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul scored 77 and 57 respectively to boost India’s total.
Hardik Pandya, Vijay Shankar and Kuldeep Yadav scalped two wickets each to halt Pakistan to 212 runs.
