What is the best way to stop AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli from blowing away teams in IPL. Well, if KL Rahul is given an option, he would like to ban his former Royal Challengers Bangalore teammates from taking any further part in the cash-rich T20 tournament.
KL Rahul made the hilarious point while speaking to Virat Kohli for a promotional event. In the video posted on Virat Kohli’s Instagram profile, the RCB skipper asked KL Rahul several questions ranging from his captaincy debut to how he prepared himself for the ongoing IPL.
One of the question to KL Rahul was to name one rule he would like in T20s. In reply, the KXIP skipper hilariously said he would ask IPL to ban Kohli as well as de Villiers from the tournament.
“I would ask IPL to ban you and AB for next year,” said KL Rahul leaving Virat Kohli in splits before adding: “Once you have achieved certain numbers, certain amount of runs, it should be enough. Once you have got 5,000 runs in IPL, okay bas (enough). Now you guys let the other guys do the work.”

KXIP will be locking horns against RCB on Thursday (October 15) and KL Rahul would be hoping that Kohli and de Villiers do not fire. RCB are coming into the game on the back of a thumping 82-run win over Kolkata Knight Riders. De Villiers had starred in that match, slamming an unbeaten 73 off just 33 while sharing an unbeaten 100-run stand with Kohli.
KXIP, on the other hand, are on a five-match losing streak. They have already lost six of their opening six game and would be desperate to get back to winning ways. Incidentally, their only win in the tournament so far has come against RCB.
