Former Sunrisers Hyderabad coach Tom Moody hailed Yashasvi Jaiswal post his debut. Taking to Twitter, Moody said that the Indian player will leave a significant blueprint in the Test format.

Yashasvi Jaiswal started his cricket journey in Mumbai city at a very young age. After playing for India’s U-19 team, he became a member of Rajasthan Royals in IPL. He made his IPL debut in the 2020 season.
However, the left-handed batter rose to the limelight in IPL 2023 season. Playing as an opener for the Royals, Jaiswal shattered 625 runs in 14 games. Smashing his debut IPL ton and fastest-ever fifty of the tournament, Jaiswal finished as the fifth-highest run-getter in IPL 2023. He also held a high strike rate of 163+, smacking 1 century and 5 half-centuries in the season.
Meanwhile, with unbeaten 40 and 30 by Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma, Team India trails by 70 runs in IND vs WI 1st Test. Earlier, West Indies were bowled out for just 150 in 1st innings. Alick Athanaze scored the most 47 runs for the home side.
