India vs New Zealand 2019: Watch - Katey Martin, Frances Mackay Collide While Running

New Zealand wicketkeeper-batswoman Katey Martin and Frances Mackay collided with each other while running between the wickets. Both the batters were ball watching and bumped into each other while completing a single. However, both the batswomen were able to reach their respective ends safely. Thus, it was a comedy of errors from the New Zealand batting pair.
Meanwhile, New Zealand has posted a par score of 159 runs in the first T20 against India’s Women after Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and decided to bowl first.
Indian women had clinched the recently concluded three-match ODI series by 2-1. They had won the first ODI match by nine wickets and won the second by eight wickets. However, New Zealand bounced back to win the third ODI by eight wickets. On the other hand, India’s Men team won the five-match ODI series by 4-1 as they dominated the New Zealand side in all spheres except for the fourth ODI at Hamilton.
India’s southpaw opener Smriti Mandhana is in red hot form. The left-hander has thus far scored 240 runs in the four innings of the ongoing tour. She is averaging a stunning 120 and has scored her runs with a strike rate of 111.63.
Mandhana has scored a quickfire knock of 51 runs from 25 balls in the ongoing first ODI to keep India on the right path. Jemimah Rodrigues has also given good support as she has scored 29 runs from 23 balls.
On the other hand, Sophie Devine scored 62 runs from 48 balls. The New Zealand batsman scored six fours and two sixes. Furthermore, Katey Martin provided the finishing touches as she scored 27 runs from 14 balls laced with one four and two sixes.
