The promising all-rounder is making waves with his batting in the domestic circuit. As he is coming into the side after a lengthy layoff, Pandya will certainly be the player to watch out in the series. His return will bring balance to the side and also gives India a finisher, as it has been lacking factor in the recent past for India.

Being a fast-bowling all-rounder, the Indian team management can also contemplate the idea of embedding KulCha combination as well.

However, all the eyes will be on Hardik Pandya, who recently scored back to back centuries in DY Patil Tournament.

Pandya last played for India in September month of 2019. He underwent surgery and spent time for his rehab before making his way back in the Indian team.

4. Anrich Nortje:

The flamboyant cricketer is delivering goods on a regular basis with the ball. Almost in every game, he is picking wickets for his side and also making an impact with his economical spells upfront and in death overs of the game. His pace is an added advantage of him, as he can clock 150+ consistently.

He already got enough experience of playing in Indian conditions and will be looking forward to tackling the batsmen like Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan and Pandya. Thus, Anrich Nortje will be one of the players to watch out during the course of the series.

3. Quinton de Kock:

The South Africa all-rounder Quinton de Kock has been in sensational form with the bat for South Africa. He is delivering goods on a consistent basis to make things happen for South Africa. The flamboyant batsman also got good stats against India, which will make him a player to watch out for.

Besides his batting, Quinton de Kock will also be in the focus for his captaincy skills. With de Kock being the hope of South Africa board for the upcoming 50-over world cup, his experience in leading the team against India in Indian conditions will hold a lot of Importance.

2. Jasprit Bumrah:

Bumrah was far from his best as despite playing in all the three games against the Black Caps, he was unable to make any impact and returned wicketless while going for a total of 167 runs in the 30 overs he bowled. In the ICC rankings, he has been replaced by New Zealand’s Trent Boult at the numero uno spot after the just-concluded series.

Jasprit Bumrah has always been a champion and he would like to make a stern comeback with the performance against South Africa. With Bhuvneshwar Kumar making a comeback into the team, Bumrah will likely bowl with a lot of freedom to deliver goods for India.

1. Virat Kohli:

His form was a major topic during the New Zealand series and also remains the same in the current sporting news world as well. The flamboyant batsman struggled in New Zealand to make things fall in place and also bagged the worst record as skipper in the ODI format of the game.

Kohli had struggled to fire with the bat in the limited-overs series, managing just one half-century in 8 innings.

In total, he scored 218 runs from 11 innings on this tour with 51 being his highest score. His tally of 218 is the lowest he has managed on a tour where he has played all 3 formats of the sport.

To shut all the critics, Virat Kohli would love to come good against South Africa in the 3-match ODI series.
