It seems like Ravindra Jadeja wants to prove a point for the team management for neglecting him in the England series. He showed his worth as a player by knocking stunning tallies in the back-to-back games. However, this time, it is even special for the southpaw, who scored his maiden Test century against the Windies in Rajkot.
The left-handed batsman, Ravindra Jadeja came close to his maiden century on many occasions, but unfortunately, he never crossed the mark for some reasons. However, finally, the day came for India’s rockstar at his home ground.
Ravindra Jadeja scored an unbeaten 100* off 132 balls:
There would be no better place for Ravindra Jadeja to score his maiden century apart from Rajkot, where he had played cricket since his childhood. However, the celebration that followed has been icing on the cake.

The flamboyant all-rounder has marked the century with a sword show that made whole Rajput families proud in the stadium as well. All in all, it was an electrifying environment at Rajkot after the century from Jadeja’s willow.

It seems like Jadeja is waiting for his maiden ton for a long time. The way he celebrated after the century showed how much it means for the local guy, who is serving his country for a long time now.
India declares on 649/9:
Meanwhile, as soon as Ravindra Jadeja completed his maiden century, Virat Kohli declared the innings for 649/9. However, it has been a massive tally registered by India on Rajkot turf to avoid the possibility of losing the game.
Apart from Ravindra Jadeja, the India skipper Virat Kohli and the newbie in the cricket block, Prithvi Shaw marked centuries to their name. For visitors, Devendra Bishoo finished with four wickets.
