IPL 2019 Auction: Mumbai Indians Skipper Rohit Sharma Welcomes Yuvraj Singh to the City of Heroics

Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, Mumbai Indians roped in the service of veteran all-rounder Yuvraj Singh at his base price of Rs 1 crore at the auction. Following his inclusion, Mumbai skipper Rohit Sharma welcomed the southpaw in the squad.

Meanwhile, this will Yuvraj’s fifth franchise in the cash-rich league. Previously he has represented Kings XI Punjab, Delhi Capitals, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad. He also lifted the IPL trophy with Hyderabad in 2016.

And now, Yuvraj Singh after not finding a bidder in the first round got a buyer in the form of Mumbai Indians at his base price of Rs 1 crore.
