Well, last few months have been pretty ordinary for Yuvraj Singh in his cricketing career. The left-handed batsman tried to make things fall in place in order to be back in the Indian National Cricket Team. But, unfortunately, failed to do so. In between, the only way he got to prove himself is by knocking runs for Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians in IPL 2019.

Surprisingly, Yuvraj Singh never had a good season in the Indian Premier League over the years. Be it injuries or poor form, the southpaw hasn’t garnered any big numbers under his kitty to prove his skills. However, everyone knows his prowess in hitting the ball out of the fence.

I would like to play in middle-order for Mumbai Indians – Yuvraj Singh

Further, he went on to add saying that he will be playing his natural game for the team in the upcoming season. Yuvraj Singh revealed that he is pretty fired up and wants to perform for the team at any cost.

“I think, if I can contribute in the middle-order, it will just take some weight off him (Rohit) and he can just go and play his natural game, while opening. (We will) see how the combinations (go),” Yuvraj told reporters here. “I’m very fired up boss, I have been training in the nets every day,” said Yuvraj.

“I was excited to see him (Shubman) play for India. It is amazing, how he has improved so much. He came back from the (India) A tour, scored a lot of runs in domestic cricket, straightaway got an opportunity,” said Yuvraj.

Well, it would be interesting to see how Yuvraj Singh would cope up with the situations in the upcoming edition of IPL. He can even push selectors for ICC World Cup 2019 berth if he comes up with performances in IPL 2019.

I just love what I script. Over the years, Cricket has been my passion and crisping articles on it gives me an immense pleasure...Cheers...!!!
