Delhi Capitals spinner Sandeep Lamichhane has raised a number of eyebrows with his latest cryptic tweet. The Nepal star is yet to get a chance in the playing eleven as Delhi Capitals are doing extremely well. With 5 wins from six games, they are currently at the top of the points table.

As far as Delhi Capitals’ spin department is concerned, they are currently relying on Axar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin and both the spinners have done really well so far. In fact, Axar and Ashwin bagged the Man of the Match awards in the last two games.

Axar was the Man of the Match when Delhi Capitals had thrashed Royal Challengers Bangalore by 59 runs. The left-arm spinner had conceded just 18 runs off 4 overs while taking the wickets of Moeen Ali and Aaron Finch, helping Delhi defend 196 with utmost ease.

In the following game against Rajasthan Royals, Ashwin starred with the ball. The off-spinner conceded just 22 runs from his four overs while dismissing Jos Buttler and Mahipal Lomror as Delhi beat Royals by 46 runs while defending 184. And with both Ashwin and Axar doing well, it is tough for Sandeep Lamichhane to break into the playing eleven.

The leg-spinner must have fancied his chances after fellow spinner Amit Mishra was ruled out of the ongoing competition due to an injury but the form of Ashwin and Axar is set to keep him on the bench at least for some time now.

And it looks like the spinner is just disappointed with how things are unfolding for him in IPL 2020. On Saturday, he took to Twitter to post a cryptic tweet which has convinced many of his followers that he is not happy with being benched.

“You don’t fix something that is not broken,” wrote the Nepal star.
