Australian legend Shane Warne is not happy with the brand of cricket being played in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) and has come up with suggestions to improve cricket. Shane Warne is currently in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as he is among the support staff of one of the franchises of IPL, the Rajasthan Royals (RR).
IPL has seen a bundle of close nail-biting finishes in its first couple of weeks. Batsmen, as they do in T20 cricket, have gone on to dominate the tournament so far. Yesterday, in a game between Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Mumbai Indians (MI), a total of 104 runs were scored in the last 6 overs and it seems like Shane Warne is completely unhappy, especially for the bowlers.

Shane Warne has been among one of the most legendary bowlers, the world of cricket has ever seen. This clearly goes on to justify his frustration with the T20 format.
Shane Warne Comes Up With Suggestions To Improve The T20 Format
On Friday, Warne took to Twitter and wrote, “I would improve T/20 cricket by: 1. Boundaries as big as poss at each venue & on small grounds keep grass on the outfield long 2. Bowlers a max of 5 overs not four 3. Pitch must = day 4 test match pitch & not be a flat rd As we all want a contest between bat & ball not just 6’s.”

On Thursday, Mumbai Indians beat Kings XI Punjab by 48 runs to go on top of the IPL 2020 Points Table. What proved to be the difference between both sides was the death-over carnage by Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya and clearly, Shane Warne does not look too happy about it.
