After guiding Royal Challengers Bangalore to an impressive win over Rajasthan Royals, Virat Kohli came up a heartwarming gesture for Rahul Tewatia. Keeping aside the rivalry, the RCB skipper gifted the Royals player his signed jersey.
Both Virat Kohli and Tewatia posed with the jersey after the conclusion of the game in Abu Dhabi. The batting superstar also wrote a message for the rising Royals star on the jersey which read: “Dear Rahul, Best wishes”, followed by his signature.
Rahul Tewatia is elated as he gets an autographed jersey by Virat Kohli.

Virat Kohli, nonetheless, finally returned to form on Saturday as he powered RCB to an impressive eight-wicket win over the Royals. After scoring just 18 runs in the first three games of IPL 2020, the right-handed batsman played an unbeaten knock of 72 to take his side home.
His knock was studded with seven fours and a couple of sixes as RCB chased down 154 without facing too many troubles. Tewatia also impressed with the bat although he could not guide his team to a match-winning total. The allrounder, who had become an overnight star after smashing five sixes in an over earlier in the competition, smashed three sixes during his 12-ball 24 runs knock to help Royals finish on 154.
Meanwhile, during the course of his knock, Virat Kohli also became the first batsman to breach the 5,500 runs in IPL. He now has 5,502 IPL runs to his name. The second highest run-scorer in the tournament is Suresh Raina who is not playing in the ongoing competition due to personal reasons.
