Mahendra Singh Dhoni Hosts Sachin Tendulkar's Fan Sudhir Gautam at His Ranchi Farmhouse
In such a beautiful gesture, ardent Mahendra Singh Dhoni hosted Sudhir Gautam, the famous Sachin Tendulkar fan, for the lunch at his Ranchi-bound farmhouse.
While the whole country is obsessed with cricket, there are very few fans who are as passionate as Sudhir himself. He is well known to the cricketing fraternity across the globe.
Being famous for painting his body with the tri-colour and Tendulkar’s name painted across, blowing the conch and waving the Indian flag incessantly, Sudhir has proved to be one of the most famous fans owing to the gentleman’s game.
Well, Dhoni, on Friday (June 1), acknowledged Sudhir’s selfless love for the game by inviting him to his farmhouse.
So much so, Sudhir took to Twitter to share the pictures of his visit to the farmhouse, terming it a ‘special day’.
“Special Day with Captain Cool @msdhoni. Super Lunch with Super Family at Farm House. Words can’t describe the moments spent. Thank You, MS Dhoni and Sakshi Di @SaakshiSRawat. Captain Relaxed after winning #IPL2018 @ChennaiIPL,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, Dhoni is currently enjoying some time off-the-field after leading the Super Kings to their IPL title.
Despite the two-year absence, the Super Kings went all the way to lift the title under Dhoni’s captaincy. They thrashed Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets in the grand finale at the iconic Wankhede – to win the title.
Moreover, the victory also helped Dhoni to end his and Super Kings’ seven-year drought for an IPL trophy. After winning the title in 2010 and 2011, the Dhoni-led side had lost the mega finale in 2012, 2013 and 2015 respectively.
Dhoni also enjoyed a stunning IPL as a wicketkeeper-batsman. He scored 455 runs in 16 games – the most by him in any IPL season so far. He averaged 75.83 this year and eventually hit three fifties.
The 36-year old Mahendra Singh Dhoni will be next in action during the Twenty20 International series against Ireland in June, this year.
