Pakistan speedster Mohammad Amir’s campaign in the Pakistan Super League might well come to an end after the left-arm pacer sustained an injury during a match against the Peshawar Zalmi. Hence he is expected some of the upcoming matches shortly. During an interview, skipper of the Karachi Kings Imad Wasim said:
“It is a major blow for our team to lose such a world-class player.”
“At the moment it is pretty hard to tell how bad the injury is. We are assessing and will update soon,” added Imad. When asked about Amir’s replacement Imad said, “We have good players sitting in the dugout, it would not be a big problem for us. We have had planned to replace Amir and Mills during the tournament.”

The Karachi Kings will go loggerheads against Lahore Qalandars in the 3rd match of the Pakistan Super League at the Dubai International Stadium. Meanwhile, the Karachi Kings have won both the matches they have played till now while Qalandars are yet to register a victory.
Mohammad Amir has arguably been the best Pakistan speedster in the recent times. After making a comeback following his suspension, he has been the standout Pakistan bowler. It was the left-arm pacer’s sensational spell against arch-Rivals India during the ICC Champions Trophy final which helped them win their maiden Champions title.
