Mosharaff Hossain claimed that his father tested positive earlier and got admitted at the ICU in CMH hospital. Later, he experienced the symptoms, too, testing positive. However, he assured that his health is fine and isolated himself.

My father tested COVID-19 positive earlier and he was admitted in the ICU of the CMH hospital. Later I also experienced some symptoms and tested coronavirus positive. My health is fine so far and I have isolated myself at home,” the 38-year old mentioned.

Mosharaff Hossain’s wife and child test negative:

The silver lining to the news was his wife and child did not contract the pathogen and staying with her parents.

My wife and my child however tested negative and they are living with her parents,” he added.

Meanwhile, Hossain is not the only international cricketer to test positive for Coronavirus. The likes of Taufeeq Umar, Shahid Afridi, Mashrafe Mortaza, Nazmul Islam and Nafees Iqbal also had the disease. Fortunately, they have recovered from the same. Last week, 18 players from Bangladesh’s football squad also contracted the disease.
