New Zealand Cricket (NZC) is very conscious of the widespread coronavirus threat all across the globe and is providing regular updates to all its players on a frequent basis. Also, NZC is also sensitising its six players who will play in the Indian Premier League (IPL), about preventive measures to deal with the deadly outbreak.

The six New Zealand players, who are set to play in the IPL are Jimmy Neesham (KXIP), Lockie Ferguson (Kolkata Knight Riders), Mitchell McClenaghan and Trent Boult (both Mumbai Indians), Kane Williamson (Sunrisers Hyderabad) and Mitchell Santner (Chennai Super Kings).

The BCCI has already said that it is going ahead with the IPL as scheduled from March 29.

The Indian board is, however, yet to come out with any travel advisory for foreign as well as national players.
