Sachin Tendulkar Sends Birthday Greetings to Kuldeep Yadav

Cricketing legend, Sachin Tendulkar congratulated the Indian national cricket team spinner, Kuldeep Yadav, on his 24th birthday. Meanwhile, the bowler had recently cemented his position in the white-ball format with his brilliant skills, as Kuldeep has become the key bowler for India heading into the 2019 World Cup.

Kuldeep – the white-ball star!

Born on December 14, 1994, Kanpur-born Kuldeep Yadav began his career as a fast bowler when he first joined a cricket academy. However, he was asked by his coach, Kapil Pandey to switch to something much rarer – left-arm wrist spin. Though the plan seemed to have worked, as Kuldeep became a sensation in the Indian cricket, courtesy his performance both in the IPL and the domestic fold.

However, in 33 ODIs played, Kuldeep has 67 wickets to his name. Not only this, the left-arm wrist spinner had taken an international hat-trick in his brief career as well; the iconic moment came against Australia at the Eden Gardens in 2017. Moreover, he is the third Indian to take a hat-trick in ODI cricket. Before him, fast bowlers Chetan Sharma and Kapil Dev had achieved the feat.

Highest wicket-taker in T20Is

Furthermore, Kuldeep is the top wicket-taker chinaman bowler in T20Is. According to the data, Yadav has a total of 33 wickets to his name. The second name on the list is Netherland’s, Michael Ripon, who has 15 wickets to his tally. Meanwhile, the 24-year-old had made his T20 debut last year, and in a year, he made this record his name.

However, the Indian great, Sachin Tendulkar wished Kuldeep in the Chinese language and congratulated him on his birthday.
