Shane Warne in Awe of the Young Boy From Kashmir After his “Ball of the Century”
Legendary Australian spinner Shane Warne has shared high praise for a seven-year-old boy from Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir, who has taken the internet by storm with his ball of the century.
Meanwhile, a senior journalist in Kashmir, Mufti Islah had posted a video of the boy bowling at a local match earlier this year. The video has already gathered 64000 views on Twitter.
“Easily ball of the century. A googly that turns a metre and a half. @ShaneWarne take a look. You have some competition,” journalist, Islah Mufti had tweeted.

“His name is Ahmad. He is 7 year old from Ganderbal district of Kashmir. A prodigy, I guess,” Mufti later tweeted in reply to Warne.
The legendary spinner is currently a part of the commentary team of the ongoing four-match Test series against India and Australia. The visitors look well in line to take a 1-0 lead in the series as they need only six wickets on the final day at Adelaide.
