South Africa vs Zimbabwe 2018: Watch Faf du Plessis Calls Specialist Coin Tosser, JP Duminy

South African skipper Faf du Plessis decided to have some fun at the toss in the first T20I against Zimbabwe. Faf du Plessis who returned to the captaincy helm after missing out in the ODI series asked JP Duminy to flick the coin for him. In fact, both the talisman batsmen celebrated the toss win by doing a high-five.
Thus, it was an entertaining start to the match. JP Duminy had led South Africa in the three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe in the absence of Faf du Plessis. The South African skipper took to his Instagram handle as he said that he loves what he does. However, du Plessis also believes it is imperative to have some fun especially in the shortest format of the game.
Meanwhile, South Africa was able to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series after winning the first T20I by 34 runs. In fact, JP Duminy was not part of the playing XI for the first match. Duminy had led the Proteas in the three-match ODI series which South Africa went on to win by 3-0.
On the other hand, Faf du Plessis was able to score 34 runs off just 20 balls after returning to action. The Proteas skipper scored five fours and two sixes in his blistering knock.
Meanwhile, Imran Tahir was the star of the show for South Africa. Tahir continued his ODI form going as he scalped a five-wicket haul in the first match. The leg-spinner was able to take 10 wickets in the three-match ODI series.
Rassie van der Dussen was able to score a fine 56 off just 39 balls to take South Africa’s total to 160 runs. The second T20I will take place at Senwes Park, Potchefstroom on 12th October.
