Pakistan’s part-time spinner Saleem Malik was handy with the ball. Malik scalped 89 wickets in the 283 matches he played for Pakistan. The off-break spinner bowled with an average of 33.25 and gave his runs at an economy rate of 5.07. In fact, Malik had the best bowling figures of 5-35. On the other hand, the talisman right-handed batsman scored 7170 runs in his One-Day career.
Malik played 103 Test matches for Pakistan in which he scored 5768 runs at an average of 43.37.
9. Virender Sehwag – 96

Virender Sehwag was more famous for his explosive batting. However, Sehwag was a decent off-spinner for India who snared 96 wickets in the 251 One Day Internationals for India. Sehwag bowled with an average of 40.14 and economy rate of 5.26. In fact, Sehwag had impressive best bowling figures of 4-6. Furthermore, Sehwag took 40 wickets in his Test career. Astle best bowling performances in 50-overs version was 4-43.
Astle went on to score 7090 runs in his One-Day career for the Blackcaps.
7. Sourav Ganguly – 100

India’s former skipper Sourav Ganguly scalped 100 wickets in the 311 One Day Internationals. Ganguly used to be accurate with his seam-up and bowled around 120 km/h. The medium pacer bowled with an average of 38.49 whereas he bowled with an economy rate of 5.06. Ganguly best bowling performance was 5-16.

6. Tillakaratne Dilshan – 106

Meanwhile, Gayle has so far scored 10480 runs in his One Day career and he is still going strong at 39 years of age.
