Ishan Kishan gave an impeccable start to Mumbai Indians in the ongoing match against Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2021. The left-handed batsman smacked a half-century off just 16 balls, which is the fastest in IPL 2021. He arrived on the crease as an opener with skipper Rohit Sharma. In the match, he has already hit 10 fours and 2 sixes and currently crossed the 60-run mark. After his knock, Twitter went on fire.

Mumbai Indians take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in their last group match in IPL 2021. The second-last match of the tournament is taking place at Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. MI have an almost impossible task of defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad by a margin of 171 runs or more to make an entry to playoffs.

Ishan Kishan also hit a blistering half-century in the previous game. Against Rajasthan Royals in the last match, the left-handed batsman smacked unbeaten 50 off 25 balls.

Earlier, MI skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat first against Sunrisers Hyderabad. MI need to score 250+ total and defeat SRH by 171+ runs to replace KKR from the 4th spot.

MI might earn equal points as that of KKR after defeating SRH but their playoffs entry looks highly impossible. Delhi Capitals, Chennai Super Kings, and Royal Challengers Bangalore have already qualified for the playoffs.
