Team India cricketers recently visited the High Commissioner’s house in London ahead of the second Test of the five-match series at the Lord’s Cricket Ground from August 9 (Thursday). So much so, the fans over social media platform Twitter vent their frustration through tweets after a team photo surfaced on Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) Twitter handle.

Meanwhile, India lost the first Test by 31 runs at Edgbaston in Birmingham after a brilliant spell from Ben Stokes.

Indian batsmen except skipper Virat Kohli failed to offer any resistance against the English bowlers. Kohli brought his maiden hundred in England and backed it with a fighting half-century in the second essay.

However, the batsmen will have to rise to the occasion and take extended responsibility on their shoulders. India struggled due to poor starts, and they will be keen for not replicating the mistake again.

On the bowling front, India will play the same line-up with Ishant Sharma leading from the front. Ravichandran Ashwin will also look to replicate his efforts along with Mohammed Shami.

Ahead of the second Lord’s Test, Kohli has managed to grab the attention along with his wife, Anushka Sharma. The High Commission of India in London hosted the Indian Test team on Tuesday (August 7) with captain Kohli’s wife Anushka also in attendance at the gathering.

It is, however, still unclear how Anushka is travelling with the side as BCCI barred WAGs until the third Test.

#TeamIndia members at the High Commission of India in London,” BCCI wrote on Twitter.

However, the presence of the Bollywood actress in the picture saw a lot of divided opinions on the Internet.

Some people criticised her for getting special treatment since she was allowed to attend the official event while the families of other cricketers have reportedly been asked by the BCCI to stay away till the third Test, while others didn’t see anything wrong with it.

Furthermore, many criticised BCCI for allowing her to stand in the front row while Kohli’s deputy Ajinkya Rahane stood in the last.

Here is how the Twitterati’s reacted after Team India’s photo appeared on BCCI’s Twitter handle:
