Delhi Capitals (DC) captain Rishabh Pant’s quick work of hands resulted in his opposition captain Shreyas Iyer of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), losing his wicket as he was stumped off Kuldeep Yadav’s delivery in their IPL 2022 match at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.

The two sides clashed in the 19th match of the Indian Premier League season 15 and Kolkata captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss against his former franchise, the Delhi Capitals, and chose to bat first. The KKR team went in unchanged, but Delhi made one change, bringing in Khaleel Ahmed for Anrich Nortje.

DC was left in a tussle at 161/5 in 15 overs when Sunil Narine (2/21) removed the dangerous Lalit Yadav and Rovman Powell.

However, DC finished strongly at 215/5 with Axar Patel making 22* and Shardul Thakur making 29* hitting Umesh Yadav for three sixes in one over.

Iyer looked good to take KKR to the finishing line and even completed his half-century. However, after making 54 in 33 balls with 5 fours and 2 sixes, he tried to up the ante against Kuldeep Yadav and jumped out of the crease to hit a six.
