The world has once again seen the soft side of MS Dhoni’s personality thanks to the video posted by his wife on Instagram. When on field, MS Dhoni rarely shows emotions. No matter what the situation is, he rarely lets his emotions get the better of him.

But once he comes out of the field, he becomes a different man altogether. The countless videos of him playing with his daughter Ziva are a proof that MS Dhoni is a very compassionate man and loves to keep his emotions under check only when he plays cricket.

And the video posted by Sakshi Dhoni on Instagram on Monday once again proved MS Dhoni’s compassionate side. Mrs Dhoni took to the social media platform to post a very adorable picture of her husband petting the dog. In the clip, MS Dhoni could be seen giving a massage to the dog and one can say that the latter was thoroughly enjoying it.

MS Dhoni is currently at his home in Ranchi after Chennai Super Kings’ training camp was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Chennai Super Kings skipper was in Chennai since the start of the month for the training camp. He was accompanied by the likes of Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu, Harbhajan Singh and several other big names.

Chennai Super Kings’ decision came after the BCCI suspended the IPL till April 15. The IPL would have marked the return of MS Dhoni to action. The former India skipper has not played a competitive game since the end of the World Cup last year. India coach Ravi Shastri had previously said that Dhoni could return to the national team by doing well in the IPL. But with the IPL’s future not clear either, one can only speculate about Dhoni’s international career.
