Veteran Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh was part of the triumphant Chennai Super Kings (CSK) outfit as the yellow brigade lifted the IPL title for the third time in their Indian Premier League (IPL) history.

In addition, it was the first time Harbhajan was playing for a different franchise than Mumbai Indians (MI). He had been earlier part of the Indians squad on all 10 occasions earlier.

Harbhajan has moved away from the radar of national selection. However, he has been quite impressive in the IPL. Though he never managed to bag enough wickets, he went on to keep the run rate under check in the recently-concluded edition of the IPL leg.

The Jalandhar-born has impressed one and all with his on and off-field heroics. Harbhajan recently shared a video where he can be seen arm wrestling with WWE wrestler, Duleep Singh Rana, better known as The Great Khali.

Well, there was no doubt about the fact that the “Panja fight” was bound to be dominated by the WWE star. He is a giant and has thrashed well known WWE stars.

Hence, winning an arm wrestling with Harbhajan was just a mere formality.

Following the unmatched competition, Harbhajan took to his twitter handle to post the video of the combat.

“Panja with great Khali #DalipSinghCWE #bigfella #Awesomeguy #bigman,” the caption read.

Meanwhile coming back to Harbhajan, he was the first choice for Mahendra Singh Dhoni when Ravichandran Ashwin was roped in as the skipper of Kings XI Punjab (KXIP). He needed an experienced and a like for like replacement.

Harbhajan wasn’t a regular feature in the playing XI but did the job for his franchise whenever required.

Replacing Ashwin, who has been an IPL legend wasn’t easy. But Harbhajan was the best possible replacement at least for Dhoni. The latter has led Harbhajan for years and have a good understanding of the senior pro.

Senior campaigner bagged seven wickets in 13 matches. Earlier, leg-spinner Imran Tahir was the preferred choice spinner. However, as the tournament progressed Harbhajan became the go-to spin bowler for Dhoni.
