The Windies have added the services of Keemo Paul in place of their full-time skipper Jason Holder who is been suspended from the third Test match due to slow over-rate. As expected, Windies opening batsman Kraigg Brathwaite will hold the captaincy reins in the third and final Test.
The Windies have already clinched the three-match series. The hosts were able to surprise England in the first Test match as they won by a gargantuan margin of 381 runs. Jason Holder had led from the front in the first Test match as he scored a majestic double ton in the second innings. Kemar Roach had scalped a five-wicket haul to skittle out the hosts for a paltry score of 77 runs.

Furthermore, the hosts continued their domination over the visitors in the second Test. The Windies won the second Test by 10 wickets. Kemar Roach was awarded the Man of the Match award for taking eight wickets in the match. Roach scalped four wickets in each innings of the match.
On the other hand, Kraigg Brathwaite will lead the Windies for the first time in home conditions. Brathwaite has led the Windies in four Test matches, all of which have been in away games. The right-hander has led in New Zealand, Bangladesh, and India.

Meanwhile, Keemo Paul who has replaced the Windies skipper has thus far played two Test matches. The third and final Test match between Windies and England will take place at Darren Sammy International Stadium from Saturday.
West Indies squad for the third Test: Kraigg Brathwaite (captain), Darren Bravo, Shamarh Brooks, John Campbell, Roston Chase, Shane Dowrich, Shannon Gabriel, Shimron Hetmyer, Shai Hope, Alzarri Joseph, Keemo Paul, Kemar Roach, Oshane Thomas, Jomel Warrican.
