Yuvraj Singh was one of the cleanest hitters of the cricket ball during his illustrious playing career. There were very few sights in the game as beautiful as Yuvraj Singh’s shots. His cover drivers, flicks, lofted shots for big sixes are still missed by the fans. The world has seen very few batsmen as stylish as Yuvraj Singh.

And the legendary India batsman has now named the batsman who he thinks is the cleanest hitter of the cricket ball at present. Snubbing the likes of Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, David Warner and other big names, Yuvraj Singh named his former India and Mumbai Indians teammate Rohit Sharma as the cleanest striker of the ball at present.

The former India batsman said that Rohit Sharma is ‘very clean and very elegant’ with the bat. He went on to say that no one comes close to the India opener when it comes to striking the ball cleanly.

“I would say Rohit Sharma. He is very clean, and very elegant when it comes to his shots,” Yuvraj Singh told Sport360.

“I don’t think anyone else comes close to Rohit really when it comes to hitting the ball cleanly,” he added.

Well, very few would disagree with Yuvraj Singh on this. Rohit Sharma is one of the best if not the best ODI batsman in the world right now. He is one of the most devastating batsmen in the world and his stats totally justify that. Rohit Sharma is the only batsman who has scored three double centuries in ODIs and four centuries in T20Is. He also holds the record for the highest ODI score for his monumental 264-run knock against Sri Lanka.
