The IPL 2021 season is all set to resume from September 19 in the UAE and the final will be played on October 15. The remaining 31 matches will be played across the three venues in the Emirates and the Emirates Cricket Board are also in talks with the government regarding allowing fans back into the stadiums. The BCCI has thus managed a 25-day window to host the remaining 31 games including the playoff and the final.
Speaking to ANI, a BCCI official in the know of developments of the recent meetings between the BCCI and the ECB said the discussions went well and the Indian board is confident that the remaining games will be held successfully in Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi.
