IND vs AUS: Match Preview – ICC T20 World Cup 2021 Warm-Up Match. India and Australia will lock horns in a warm-up match in ICC T20 World Cup 2021. The India vs Australia warm-up game will take place on October 20 at ICC Cricket Academy Stadium in Dubai.

India are part of group 2 in ICC T20 World Cup 2021. Pakistan, New Zealand, and Afghanistan are other teams in group 2. Two more teams will join the group after the first round. India will commence their journey with the match against Pakistan on October 24.

Australia are part of group 1 in ICC T20 World Cup 2021. England, West Indies, and South Africa are also in the same pool. Two more teams will join the group after the first round. Australia will play their opening match against South Africa on October 23.

India defeated England in their first warm-up game of ICC T20 World Cup 2021. Batting first, England piled up 188-5 on the scoreboard. Openers Jason Roy and Jos Buttler could not go big with 17 and 18 respectively. Later, Jonny Bairstow smacked 49 runs. Moeen Ali also played a quickfire 43 runs off 20 deliveries towards the end.

For India, openers did a fabulous job. KL Rahul slammed 51 runs while Ishan Kishan scored 70 runs. Rishabh Pant scored unbeaten 29 runs. India comfortably chased the target in 19 overs by 7 wickets. Now, India will seek to come up with an equally incredible performance against the Aussies.

Australia won their previous warm-up match against New Zealand in ICC T20 World Cup 2021. Batting first, Kiwi openers Martin Guptill and Daryl Mitchell hit 30 and 33 runs respectively. Later, skipper Kane Williamson scored 37 runs. James Neesham also hit crucial 31 runs towards the end.

For Australia, Aaron Finch and Mitchell Marsh hit 24 runs each. Later, Steve Smith scored 35 runs while Marcus Stoinis smashed 28. Ashton Agar also scored important 23 runs. In the final over, Josh Inglis hit 2 consecutive boundaries to win the match for Australia by 3 wickets. Now, Australia will seek to outplay India in the next warm-up match.
