Shakib Al Hasan Ruled Out Of The Pakistan T20I Series Due To An Injury

Star Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has been ruled out of the upcoming three-match T20I series against Pakistan due to a hamstring injury that he suffered during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021.
Bangladesh National Cricket Team faced a huge blow after Shakib Al Hasan suffered a hamstring injury, and he was forced to fly back home in the middle of the event.
“Shakib sustained a left lower hamstring strain while fielding during the match against the West Indies. In a clinical examination ,it was diagnosed as an injury of Grade 1 intensity,” said chief physician of the BCB, Debashish Chowdhury.
“He is ruled out from participation in the last two matches of the tournament and until further review,”
Bangladesh had a horrible outing in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021, and they lost all 5 games of the Super12 stage of the tournament.
Shakib Al Hasan Will Take At Least Three Weeks To Recover – Debashish Chowdhury
The chief physician of the Bangladesh Cricket Board, Debashish Chowdhury, has stated that Shakib will take at least 3 weeks to recover and he might be available for the two-match Test series against Pakistan following the T20Is.
“Shakib will take at least three weeks to recover and get back to the field. He might be able to play the Test series,” BCB’s chief physician.
Also, Chowdhury was hopeful that Nurul Hasan will be available for the T20I series. Notably, the wicketkeeper-batsman recently had abdominal pain in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021.
Talking about the Bangladesh-Pakistan series, they will play three T20Is at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on November 19, 20 and 22, respectively, and after that, teams will lock horns in the two-match Test series. The first Test will be played at the Chattogram’s Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium from November 26. Meanwhile, the second Test will commence at Mirpur from December 4.
