T20 World Cup 2021: Watch – To Congratulate Namibia For Their Journey Pakistan Players Visited The Former's Dressing Room After The 45-Run Victory

Pakistan National Cricket Team showed a heartwarming gesture towards Namibia National Cricket Team after the 45-run victory by visiting the latter’s dressing room to congratulate them for their very good journey in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021.

Babar Azam-led side has defeated India, New Zealand, Afghanistan and Namibia to win 4 consecutive matches of the world cup and they have become the first team to qualify for the semi-finals.

Talking about the Namibia match, Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat first. Openers Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan started slow scoring 29 runs in the powerplay and only 59 runs in 10 overs. However, After the drink breaks Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam started playing aggressive and they scored 12 runs in the 11th over, 18 runs in the 12th over and 12 runs in the 13th over and in the same over they crossed a hundred runs mark too.

In the end, Pakistan were able to post the 189 runs on the board. Pakistan skipper Babar Azam scored an amazing 70 runs off 49 deliveries including 7 boundaries and Mohammad Rizwan played the sensational knock of 79.

Defending the target Pakistan bowling unit did a great job by restricting Namibian batters at the score of 144/5.

PCB’s official Twitter handle shared a video after the match in which players like Shaheen Shah Afridi, Mohammad Hafeez, Hasan Ali, Fakhar Zaman and Shadab Khan visited the Namibian dressing room to share some encouraging words. PCB captioned the post :
