Gautam Gambhir has termed David Warner’s shot off a no-ball of Mohammad Hafeez as a pathetic display of the spirit of the game. During the Pakistan vs Australia semi-final clash of ICC T20 World Cup 2021, Mohammad Hafeez bowled a no-ball after losing control of the ball while bowling.
The ball bounced two times, and David Warner took charge and slammed it for a six. Often, such deliveries end up as dead balls as bowlers lose control of the ball. However, since David Warner did not leave the ball and slammed it for a six after two bounces, it was called a no-ball, and Australia also got six runs.

David Warner scored 49 runs off 30 balls before losing his wicket through an edge off Shadab Khan’s delivery. However, replays revealed that Warner was indeed not out. Australia defeated Pakistan in the semi-finals of ICC T20 World Cup 2021 by 5 wickets.
Pakistan batted first in the match and posted 176-4 on the scoreboard. Mohammad Rizwan slammed 67 runs while Babar Azam scored 39. Fakhar Zaman played an incredible knock of unbeaten 55 runs.
Later, Australia lost Aaron Finch for a duck. However, David Warner’s 49-run knock helped Australia to get a good start. Later, Marcus Stoinis slammed unbeaten 40, and Matthew Wade hit unbeaten 41 runs to bag the victory for Australia. Now, Australia will face New Zealand in the final.
