The skipper has to take the onus of scoring runs at the top of the order. Rohit is currently the highest run-getter in T20I cricket. However, he still looks out of form having made a comeback to the team in the Asia Cup.

He did not get big runs in the matches that India needed him the most. In India’s game against Sri Lanka Rohit scored 72 which was his highest score in the tournament. Heading into the T20 World Cup, the skipper is one of the X-factor players for India.

Kohli ended the Asia Cup as the second-highest run-scorer with 276 runs from five innings. He also scored his maiden T20I century which was his 71st overall. The century took all of three years to come and Kohli looked in good form with the bat.

He admitted himself as well that he is close to playing his best again. Kohli regaining his form is the biggest positive for India heading into the mega event and the Indian fans and supporters will hope that he continues the form in Australia.

Bumrah will be India’s big X-factor with the ball in Australia. He has made a comeback to the team after recovering from a lower back injury that kept him out of the Asia Cup.

The Indian pacer was rested from the West Indies and Zimbabwe tours as well after he suffered the lower back injury. Now back fully fit, he will be India’s biggest hope with the ball in Australia.
