The Rohit Sharma-led India National Cricket Team defeated Shakib Al Hasan-led Bangladesh National Cricket Team in their 4th match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 at the Adelaide Oval on Wednesday, November 2.
The victory of 5-run over the Bangla Tigers has helped the Men In Blue strengthen their chances of securing a semi-final berth. Also, this was India’s 3rd win in 4 games in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022.

India National Cricket Team had won by 4 wickets against arch-rivals Pakistan in Melbourne and by 56 runs against the Netherlands in Sydney. Their sole defeat came against South Africa by 5 wickets in Perth.
Talking about Bangladesh, they won by 9 runs against the Netherlands in Hobart and by 3 runs against Zimbabwe in Brisbane. They also faced a heavy 104-run defeat against the Proteas in Sydney.

Talking about the IND vs BAN World Cup game, Bangladesh National Cricket Team won the toss and invited India to bat first.
Batting first, India posted 184/6 on the board with the help of Virat Kohli and KL Rahul’s half-centuries as well as Suryakumar Yadav’s quickfire knock.
KL Rahul scored stunning 50 runs off 32 balls, including 3 fours and 4 sixes, and Virat Kohli smashed a terrific 64 runs off 44 balls, including 8 fours and 1 six. Also, Suryakumar Yadav smashed brilliant 30 runs off 16 balls, including 4 fours.
Talking about Bangladesh bowlers, young pacer Hasan Mahmud bagged three wickets and spinner Shakib Al Hasan bagged 2 wickets.
Chasing the target, Litton Das provided his side with an outstanding start in the match. Bangladesh were at 66-0 after 7 overs, before the rain interrupted the play. Due to the rain, the game was reduced to 16 overs and Bangladesh got the revised target of 151 runs to chase.
Soon after the play resumed, Bangladesh lost wickets at regular intervals and they were restricted to 145/6. Notably, Bangladesh scored just 79 runs in their last 9 overs of the innings and lost 6 wickets.
