ICC T20 World Cup 2022: "Will Never Support These 'Parchi' Players" - Tanvir Ahmed

Pakistan Cricket Team’s batting woes continue. The batters were completely outplayed by Kiwi bowlers on 11th October in the Tri-Series. None of their batters scored 30 runs which raised a lot of eyebrows. With the T20 World Cup just steps away, Pakistan has to find a solution to tackle these problems.
The likes of Asif Ali & Iftikhar Ahmed were not able to make the most of their starts. Pakistan is proving to be quite predictable at this moment. The Men in Green has had a very bad habit of falling like a pack of cards which needs to be addressed quickly as now there’s no time left for experimentation.

Tanvir Ahmed on Pakistan
Tanvir Ahmed, the former pacer was quite angry with Pakistan players. “These players came from Parchi. I will never support these Parchi players because they didn’t work hard. Even if they score a hundred in 15-20 matches, I will not support them because it is just a fluke,” said Tanveer

“I will not criticize players who come to the national team purely on the basis of their performance. You will never listen to me using harsh words for hard-working players,” he added.

Steep Road Ahead for Pakistan
Pakistan now can’t afford to play casually by any means. Once again the onus will be on Babar Azam & Mohammad Rizwan to play long and effective innings. At the moment, it looks like these two batters are the whole and soul of Pakistan for the ICC T20 World Cup 2022.

Head Coach Saqlain Mushtaq will have to pull a rabbit out of the hat to solve middle-order issues. Pakistan batters are trying too hard to whack the boundaries.
The management needs to stop playing musical chairs and give Shadab Khan a long rope at the No.4 position. The batter can prove to be the surprise package.
