Pakistan Unveil Their New Jersey Ahead Of ICC T20 World Cup 2022

The Pakistan National Cricket Team have unveiled their new jersey ahead of the 8th edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which will be held in Australia in October-November.

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 is scheduled to commence on October 16 with the group stage matches. The Super 12 round will commence on October 22 and the final is set to take place on November 13 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

On Monday, September 19, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) took to social media platforms to share a video, which featured the key players from both the Men’s and Women’s teams wearing the new thunder jersey. The new jersey has several diagonal patterns in two different shades of green at the front. Notably, a few pictures of the new jersey were leaked on social media before the reveal.

No Fakhar Zaman, Shahnawaz Dahani In 15-member Squad For T20 World Cup

On Thursday, September 15, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced a 15-member squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022.

Star batter Fakhar Zaman was dropped from the main squad after his poor performance in the Asia Cup 2022. Also, Shahnawaz Dahani was not included in the main squad.

Meanwhile, Shaheen Shah Afridi, who got ruled out of the recently concluded Asia Cup 2022 after suffering a right knee ligament injury, returned to the squad. Also, Shan Masood and Haider Ali were included.
