SA vs ZIM: Match Preview – ICC T20 World Cup 2022, Match 18. South Africa and Zimbabwe are set to collide with each other in their opening game of the super 12 round of ICC T20 World Cup 2022. SA vs ZIM, match 18 of the tournament, takes place on October 24 (Monday).

The venue of the clash is Bellerive Oval Stadium in Hobart. Both teams are part of group 2 in the tournament. While South Africa already qualified for the super 12 round, Zimbabwe topped their group in the qualifier round to reach the super 12 stage.

During the qualifier round, Zimbabwe defeated West Indies, Ireland, and Scotland to grab a spot in the super 12 round. Ahead of the tournament, South Africa played a warm-up match against New Zealand which they won by 9 wickets.
