Meanwhile, Phillips, who is known for pulling off stunners on the field, grabbed the exceptional flying catch on the second ball of the 9th over, which was bowled by the left-arm spinner, Mitchell Santner.

The 30-year-old Santner pitched the slower delivery just outside off and the Australian all-rounder Stoinis made room and was looking to go inside out over covers with the drive.

Marcus Stoinis hit the ball in the air and might have anticipated a few runs as the ball was well wide of the fielder at the sweeper. However, the Kiwi player Phillips ran to his left from deep cover, leapt full-length to his left, went two-handed and grabbed an absolutely stunning catch.

The 33-year-old Stoinis was able to score just 7 runs off 14 balls, before being cleaned up by the duo of Santer and Phillips.
