India Women’s National Cricket Team celebrated the occasion of Holi in Auckland ahead of the high-profile clash against the Australia Women’s National Cricket Team in the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2022.

Holi, which is a primarily Hindu festival, is a festival of colours, symbolic of joy and victory of good over evil.

Meanwhile, the Indian women’s team have had a decent run in the ongoing ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2022 so far, having won two out of four games.

India won by 107 runs against arch-rivals Pakistan and by 155 runs against the West Indies while they faced defeat at the hands of New Zealand by 62 runs and the Mithali Raj-led side’s latest defeat came against England by 4 wickets.

Mithali Raj-led India will lock horns with undefeated Australia on Saturday, March 19 at Eden Park. Notably, Australia are yet to lose a game in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2022, having won 4 back-to-back games in a dominant style.
