South Africa take on England in the second Test in Manchester starting from August 25. The visitors registered a thumping victory over the hosts by an innings and 12 runs. Winning the second Test would ensure them a series win. The Proteas are leading the WTC points table as well with England placed seventh.
South African skipper Dean Elgar was happy with the way his teammates performed in the first Test. They completely dominated the hosts throughout the Test match. SA bowled out England for 165 and 149 in the two innings. Kagiso Rabada took seven wickets in the Test match and won the Man of the Match award.

“The boys did a great job. I’ve got good coaching staff and a very good think-tank behind me to make those decisions (about captaincy). Kesh worked out very well for us. Sometimes you got to go with your gut feel. He (Erwee) is pretty feisty when he gets going. Great member to have in the team” said Elgar after winning the first Test.
England have already announced their playing XI for the second Test. Meanwhile, in this article, we take a look at South Africa’s playing XI. Ideally, after a comprehensive win, they can play with the same playing XI.
